In July 2026, HSJI will celebrate its 80th consecutive year of offering workshops to high school journalists. Since its founding, more than 31,500 students have attended HSJI. For its 75th anniversary in 2021, HSJI honored 75 distinguished alumini. Part of the 80th anniversary celebration will include naming 5 more distinguished alumni.
