Making the trip

For students travelling to HSJI via flight, the Indianapolis International Airport is the nearest airport, about 50 miles from Bloomington.

There are various ways to reach campus from the airport, including limo services, shuttles, and buses. If you’re looking for transportation options, here are some we recommend:

• Go Express Travel (shuttle or private car)
  • The shuttle stops at Willkie North, directly east of Spruce Hall, where you’ll be staying. We recommend getting off the shuttle at Willkie and calling the counselor office 812-856-7111, and one of our staff will walk over and escort you to the dorm. 
• Classic Touch/Carte Blanche Limousine (private or shared ride)

Both these services pick up passengers near the baggage claim area at the Ground Transportation Center at the airport.

Traveling by car?

Students may bring and store their vehicles on campus during HSJI, but you will not be allowed to drive during the program. Be sure to visit the parking page for more information about our parking policies.
