Jack Bassett is a video producer, documentarian, and educator with a background in broadcast journalism and branded storytelling. He earned his B.A. in Cinema Production and completed his M.S. in Documentary Production in May 2025, both from Indiana University. Jack's work focuses on people-driven narratives that explore mental health, technology, and community. His graduate thesis, Remembering the Future with IRIS, delves into the intersection of AI and dementia care. Professionally, Jack has served as a multimedia journalist at 13abc News in Toledo and as a videographer at Lippert, a leading RV and marine company. Passionate about mentoring emerging storytellers, he combines technical expertise with a commitment to empathy, narrative structure, and creative sound design in his teaching.
