Expression Through Music
From her auburn hair, green pearlescent nails, classic band T-shirt, everything about Bella Rolsen is intriguing.
Concert enthusiast, Rolsen, rising senior at Zionsville High School, finds music to be a way to express herself. In school Rolsen is known for her curly hair, unique nails, and assorted music taste.
She has been to a total of five concerts this summer and will be attending seven more this year. In her lifetime she has been to upwards of ten concerts and hopes to enjoy seeing many more of her favorite artists and bands live.
“Seeing shows live is a totally different experience then listening at home” Rolsen said.
Rolsen’s favorite concert she has attended recently is The Killers last September, and Paramore in June.
“The killers were really awesome because the show was in Nashville. The show had a lot of energy to it and there was never a dull moment.” Rolsen says, “The same thing with Paramore. These were both concerts were I knew the artists very well so I could sing along”
Though Rolsen has a variety of favorite artists and bands her favorite band is the Arctic Monkeys.
“Freshman year I really gravitated to their music. Artists like Taylor Swift and other popular artists my friends were listening too I didn’t find myself being inclined to like the Arctic Monkeys” Rolsen says.
All of these things make Rolsen stand out in a crowd and define who she is as person.
