Becoming Better than Ever
Day by day senior Greta Powell strives to be the best version of herself that she can be
Finding someone who you can be yourself around can be crucial to becoming friends with someone. Rising senior Greta Powell feels her friends compliment her personality and teach her more about herself than she realized as well as help her become a better and more genuine person. This has helped shape Powell into the person she wants to be and is helping her become an even better person.
“Being around the people that make me feel good, especially my family and friends and giving myself alone time helps,” Powell said.
Powell strives to improve the version of herself that people see each and every day. To make progress, Powell surrounds herself with people she knows will help her achieve being the person that she wants to be. Powell has multiple motivations throughout her life to hold her accountable and help her make the person she wants to become a reality.
“My motivation is finding ways to be a better friend and being there for the people that I care most about and just finding ways that I can better myself,” Powell said.
Powell has determination to be kind and advance herself as much as she can for herself and other people around her. She has her family and friends by her side to push her to become that person. Other than hanging out with friends, Powell has other ways she mentally resets as well.
“I like to give myself alone time and relax and regroup instead of being busy all of the time,” Powell said.
Powell likes to spend a lot of time with friends when she’s not focusing on school, but other times, Powell likes to regroup in order to be able to go out and have fun with her friends the way she knows she can. Powell wants to excel in her personality because she wants people to be able to come to her and make a good impact on the people around her.
“My goal is to be a genuine person and make good connections with people,” Powell said.
